U-God - "Dopium" - 2009

I think with this album U-God was trying to prove that he isn't the weak link within Wu-Tang Clan. He has definitely sharped up his flows and gotten way more multi-syllabic. He also has guests on almost every song in case you get sick of his monotone voice. The beats on this album are pretty standard Wu fare. Nothing too weak at all, but not sick as hell like their earlier matierial. For a newer Wu album I would say it's better than most that get released nowadays. The 3 electronic remixes at the end of the album are a little different than usual for them too, even if only 1 of them is actually tight. Apparently they came out with some dubstep meets Wu-Tang compilation this year too, but I haven't checked that out yet.
