Best Of 2010 Part 4

Georgia Anne Muldrow - "King's Ballad"
Out of the12-14 or so releases she's put together in some way over the last couple years, I think this might be my favorite.
Daedelus & Teebs - "L.A. Series 6"
An odd combo, but it works out great. I gotta find out about the first 5 volumes of this EP series ASAP.
Dam-Funk & Computer Jay - "L.A. Series 7"
Rather than do a collabo like Volume 6 is, these guys put this out as a split. Computer Jay is the shit.
Tobacco - "LA UTI"
A supplemental EP release for his full length Maniac Meat. This takes some of the tracks from Maniac Meat and puts guests vocals on it to great effect. A couple of the tracks are completely new too and those are the best tracks on here to me.
Cee-Lo Green - "The Lady Killer"
I still feel like Cee-Lo has yet to release an album that fully realizes his immense talents, but this is still another good one from him.
Kidz In The Hall - "Land Of Make Believe"
Despite their corny name, this was one of the strongest rap releases of the year. I wasn't sure if they could keep it up after the last one, The In Crowd, but this album is even a little better I think.
Lazer Sword - "Lazer Sword"
This album is crazily good for being someone's first release. These guys have jettisoned themselves to near the top within the electronic universe in my eyes.
Little Brother - "LeftBack"
I really hope this isn't the final Little Brother album, because they have grown on me over the years to the point where they're one of my favorite groups in hip hop.
Sage Francis - "Li(f)e"
I think maybe this album looks better on paper than it actually turned out with all the collabos with live musicians, but it still turned out pretty damn good. "Life is just a lie with a 'f' in it"
Tech N9ne - "The Lost Scripts Of K.O.D."
The fact that these are the leftover songs from the album he put out late last year is yet another testament to how great he is.
Mac Lethal - "Love Potion #6- "Keep It Irish"
Entirely produced by Michael "Seven" Summers, who does a lot of beats for Tech N9ne and all of Strange Music. This album sounds great as expected.
Tobacco - "Maniac Meat"
Being that he's my most listened to/jocked artist of the last couple years, I had high expectations for this which it didn't quite meet. That being said, Fuccked Up Friends was such a good album, there is just no way to top it, end of story. As it's own entity this album is still superb. Grimier than ever with the sounds, it was also nice to see Beck do 2 guest spots on here sounding like he did when he was young.
